The Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham
came into being following the generous offer made by Pope Benedict XVI
to Episcopalians and Anglicans seeking full communion with the Catholic Church
Our Ordinary is Monsignor Keith Newton
and the Bishops' Conference of the Catholic Church in Scotland
have appointed Bishop Philip Tartaglia, Bishop of Paisely,
to be the bishop-delegate in Scotland for the Ordinariate
In Scotland there are two groups:
The Highland Ordinariate Group
is based in and around Inverness, and
The Central Scotland Ordinariate Group
meets each month in Edinburgh
